To coincide with The Brian Jonestown Massacre's 2023 North American & Australasian tour, two new exclusive tracks from the band have been released. Recorded in Berlin and remotely in 2023, the opening track "Abandon Ship (Martian Meltdown Mix)" is over 11 minutes long and plays at 33 rpm, while the B-side "MaybeMake It Right" is almost 4 minutes long and plays at 45 rpm. Anton Newcombe (vocals/guitar), Hakon Adalsteinsson (guitar), and Uri Rennert (drums) play on this record, which was previously only available at concerts. Emil Nikolaisen (Serena-Maneesh/BJM) and Ryan Carlson Van Kriedt (Asteroid #4/BJM) are credited with engineering. The album comes in a thick PVC sleeve, with the artwork being a J-card allowing the vinyl to be seen.
