Joachim Liebens has invested body and soul into the project «?Dawn Of The Freak?», as he wrote each of the songs and produced the entire album. The music of The Haunted Youth echoes the shoegaze and dream pop of musical figures such as Slowdive, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, or DIIV. However, the band offers its own distinctive and immediately recognizable sounds, with a characteristic ecstatic guitar, melancholic synths, and Liebens' velvety voice. The Haunted Youth will hold two sold-out release shows in the Netherlands and in the main hall of the legendary AB in Brussels, before embarking on a launch tour across Europe in 2023.
