In 2012, YAN WAGNER released his first album, *Forty Eight Hours*, produced by Arnaud Rebotini, which featured an appearance by Etienne Daho (on "The Only One"). A free and audacious spirit on the French music scene, he stacked up prestigious dates at the Inrocks Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and Les Vieilles Charrues. For his second album, *This Never Happened*, Yan Wagner took on the production himself, opting for a warmer and more sophisticated sound. The record thus highlights the artist's two facets, between post-funk and indie dance, and a "mild side" composed of ballads that fully showcase his modern crooner voice.
