Originally scheduled for release on March 8th The Libertines, the iconic British punk rock band of the 2000s, featuring Pete Doherty, Carl Barât, John Hassall & Gary Powell, are returning after an 8-year hiatus with the album ‘All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade’. This new album marks the band's comeback for spring 2024. They are back with an album composed in Jamaica in winter 2023, accompanied by producer Dimitri Tikovoï (The Horrors, Charli XCX, Becky Hill) and mastered by Dan Grech (Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher, Paul McCartney). According to Carl Barât, the entire history of The Libertines led to the creation of this album: "Our first record was born out of panic and disbelief that we were in the studio; the second came from conflict and misery; the third from complexity, this one feels like we were all in the same place, at the same speed, and really connected."
