Originally released in 2006 on Absolutely Kosher Records, Shut Up I Am Dreaming is the first band effort from Montreal-based Sunset Rubdown, a project previously reserved for the solo experiments of Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade. Alongside Michael Doerksen (guitar), Jordan Robson-Cramer (drums, keyboard, guitar) and Camilla Wynne-Ingr (keyboard, percussion, vocals), Spencer Krug and his new band recorded the songs in just five days with the help of engineers Jace Lasek and Dave Smith at Breakglass Studios. Although lauded by fans and critics, Shut Up I Am Dreaming was never available on vinyl. Now, fifteen years later, Krug is pressing the album via his own small label, Pronounced Kroog. Remastered especially for this format at Greymarket Mastering by Harris Newman (the same engineer who mastered the original) and featuring the original artwork by Matt Moroz, this very first pressing of a now cult classic is finally available!
