NOUVEL ALBUM FOLK DU LEADER DE PAVEMENT Stephen Malkmus will release his new folk album 'Traditional Techniques' on March 6 via Domino. The third album by Malkmus in three years, 'Traditional Techniques' is an avant-garde and instantly familiar folk record. It concludes the triptych that began with the light yet bold 'Sparkle Hard' (2018) with the Jicks and the electronic experiments of 'Groove Denied' (2019). Centered on Malkmus's 12-string acoustic guitar, to which Matt Sweeney's guitar (Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Chavez) is added, 'Traditional Techniques' is the result of the work of the songwriter and studio engineer and arranger Chris Funk (The Decemberists). The result is an exciting album that highlights a songwriter who is always curious and determined to explore new horizons.
