This is truly the sound of a band evolving, gaining maturity, with more lived experiences and time knocking at the door. SONS chose to collaborate with British producer Dave McCracken (Pip Blom, dEUS, Depeche Mode, Ian Brown) and entrusted the mixing to Claudius Mittendorfer (Johnny Marr, Panic! At The Disco, Parquet Courts, Weezer).Seduced by the band's new demos, McCracken made several trips back and forth to SONS' hometown, Melsele (a small town near Antwerp), to refine the tracks before inviting the band to record in London.
