Silly Boy Blue is back with Eternal Lover, her second album. It follows Breakup Songs, a debut album released in 2021 and followed by a tour of over 40 dates, a sold-out Gaîté Lyrique, and a nomination at the Victoires de la Musique in 2022. This second album was written and recorded between France and England, in London, where solitude shaped these twelve tracks later arranged with producer Paco Del Rosso. From futuristic ballads to bold ideas for the stage, from false pop rock fluff to more synthetic outbursts, passing through melodies reminiscent of Billie Eilish, Lilly Allen, and Taylor Swift, Eternal Lover explores new musical registers and a more radical cinematic tone, which Silly Boy Blue has nourished from her experiences over the past two years. Eternal Lover is the image of the eternal lover and the eternal beloved, whose emotion becomes universal. It is an icon, as suggested by the album cover, created by the cult artist duo Pierre and Gilles. It is finally an artistic promise turned towards the future and the long term, while waiting for the next stories to share.
