Silly Boy Blue is back with *Eternal Lover*, her second album. It follows *Breakup Songs*, a debut album released in 2021, which was followed by a tour of over 40 dates, a sold-out show at La Gaîté Lyrique, and a nomination at the Victoires de la Musique in 2022.
This second album was written and recorded between France and London, England, where solitude shaped these twelve tracks, which were then arranged with producer Paco Del Rosso. From futuristic ballads to daring stage-ready pieces, from deceptive pop-rock love songs to more synthetic outbursts, with touches reminiscent of Billie Eilish, Lily Allen, or even Taylor Swift, *Eternal Lover* explores new musical registers and a more radical cinematic tone, which Silly Boy Blue has nurtured from her experiences over the past two years.
*Eternal Lover* embodies the image of the eternal lover and the eternal romantic, whose emotion becomes universal. She is an icon, as suggested by the album cover, created by the cult artist duo Pierre et Gilles. Finally, it is an artistic promise focused on the future and the long term, while awaiting the next stories to share.
