Description

After composing and arranging the albums of the duo Hollydays, Sébastien Delage begins a solo career by founding his own label, Drama Queen Music, to develop a more personal writing style. The first EP released under his name, Fou, lays the groundwork for a universe where French chanson, independent rock, and DIY aesthetics intersect. Entirely written, performed, and produced by Delage, the record blends edgy guitars, pop melodies, and candid lyrics, addressing desire, identity, and romantic relationships through an openly queer lens. Tracks like Les Garçons de l'Été and Chanson de baise already hint at the themes that will flow through his subsequent albums, Rien compris and Baise Platine, while asserting a unique voice in the contemporary French scene.
