It's a fact. 2020 will have been a special year for everyone. A pivotal period made of upheavals. A prison for some – a questioning for others.
For Sébastien Delage (founding half of the former duo Hollydays who released their album "Hollywood Bizarre" in 2018 with Polydor), 2020 will be nothing less than the trigger for a new life. Going through the worst to find the best.
It's decided, the trials that life has sent him will be the engine of a new project: that of singing! Because singing, he has never done it, or so little. That's why he decides to take this leap into the void and this time (almost entirely) alone – writing / compositions / arrangements / vocals.
Determined to stage stories as dark as they are sunny, his obsessions, his lasting or fleeting loves.
He offers a bipolar universe that resembles him and revolves around music that can abruptly shift from major to minor. He expels his demons and his desires, often confused, by the way. The choice for the arrangements is radical, it has to be organic: guitar-bass-drums-vocals. His inspirations range from Big Thief to Angel Olsen, passing through Chad VanGaalen and Radiohead… but in French.
