Landwerk No. 3 is the third volume of the series of the same name by indie folk guitarist, archivist, and collector of 78s, Nathan Salsburg. After releasing three acclaimed acoustic guitar albums from 2011 to 2018, Salsburg pivoted with the first volume of Landwerk in 2020. Alone in a farmhouse in the Kentucky countryside one winter night, he played an old 78 of the Jewish cantor Yossele Rosenblatt and was struck by a chord from the organ. He sampled it, looped it, and began to play guitar over it. Landwerk No. 3 features six new compositions pressed on double vinyl.
