Jettison (Remastered) - Vinyle Bordeaux

Description

Naked Raygun was an essential pillar of the Chicago punk scene, active from the early 80s to the early 90s. Their music demonstrated that punk could be both intense and controlled, setting a high standard for bands in the underground scene and influencing a whole generation of musicians. Founded in 1980 by Marco Pezzati, Jeff Pezzati, and Santiago Durango, the band released six albums during their eleven years of existence, each contributing to transforming the punk landscape. Their anthemic style, combining pop and hardcore with engaged lyrics, earned them recognition as one of the most influential bands of the 80s and gave birth to the famous "Chicago Sound." After Durango's departure for Big Black, John Haggerty joined the band and left his mark on the band's sound with his distinctive guitar work on four albums. With Pierre Kezdy on bass and Eric Spicer on drums, the lineup continued until Haggerty's departure in 1990 to form Pegboy, leaving Bill Stephens to participate in the final studio album, Raygun...Naked Raygun, which closed a legendary and enduringly influential career in American punk history. Bordeaux vinyl edition.
