All Rise (Remastered) - Vinyle Vert

Description

Naked Raygun was a pillar of the Chicago punk scene, active from the early 80s to the early 90s. The band showed that punk could be both energetic and technically accomplished, deeply influencing a whole generation of musicians and fans. Their anthemic and political, yet always accessible, approach earned them a unique place in the genre's history. Founded in 1980 by Marco Pezzati, Jeff Pezzati, and Santiago Durango, the band released six albums in eleven years. Their distinctive sound, a blend of hardcore and melodic pop, quickly became iconic and was dubbed “The Chicago Sound.” Naked Raygun managed to combine raw intensity with instrumental mastery, while integrating socially conscious lyrics that resonated with a wide audience. After Durango's departure for Big Black, John Haggerty joined the band, leaving his mark with his sharp guitar on four consecutive albums. Pierre Kezdy and Eric Spicer completed the lineup, before Haggerty left the band in 1990 to form Pegboy. Bill Stephens participated in the last studio album, *Raygun…Naked Raygun*, concluding a legendary career and solidifying the band's lasting influence on American punk. Green vinyl edition.
