'Last Fair Day Gone Night' presents us the Swedish masters of dark metal at the height of their glory in an electric set captured at the iconic Koko concert hall in London. Recorded during a series of very special concerts to mark the 20 years of Katatonia's career, founding members Anders Nyström and Jonas Renkse are joined by drummer Daniel Liljekvist, plus guitarist Per Eriksson and bassist Niklas Sandin, for a prestigious evening that lived up to all its promises based on an extensive set skillfully blending old and new compositions from the fabulous repertoire of the band. There is also a special concert for the 10th anniversary of the release of Last Fair Deal Gone Down that the band performs in its entirety. The second DVD features an impressive two-hour documentary that traces the history of the band with commentary from Blackheim and Jonas Renkse.
