10 new lo-fi library-hop instrumental tracks, recorded in two days during the summer of 2024, Nocturnes is ITT’s first album of 2025 and Heffernan's first solo album since Wild Nature in 2019. Known for his bold and boundless approach, Heffernan, who has spent years exploring diverse styles and production techniques, delivers an unclassifiable album here. Nocturnes weaves a sonic tapestry combining atmospheric library music, dusty hip-hop beats, and raw recordings, in a format that allows each element to breathe. Blending samples, loops, and live instrumentation, the album fuses hip-hop, dub, jazz, and electronica, while retaining an urban cinematic touch.
