Originally released on a 10" lathe cut by Ack Ack Ack Records in February 2018, it has now been remastered and reissued, and will now be available on limited edition khaki vinyl, with only 250 copies pressed. Here is some information about the album in the words of Oli Heffernan aka Ivan The Tolerable: "I recorded most of this record over a weekend in January 2018, during a very minor depression that would last pretty much the whole year. I was living alone in a big house, smoking too much, and really not seeing anyone. Happy days, indeed. The track was recorded in the back room of 97 Hambledon Road, in Middlesbrough, with two dodgy microphones, a broken HH 100 amp, my friends' drum kit, and a Tascam DP08 (which was not meant to last the year, RIP 2009-2018). When I was done, Robbie came and recorded a ton of violin drones through my amp, and I remember feeling like I was entering a trance several times, then Ben recorded his parts at home and sent them over. Mixed and mastered the same night, I self-released it a month later as a 10-inch, then quickly moved on. I listened to the album for the first time in years to write this sleeve note, and I think it’s probably the sound closest to what I hear in my head - I love how dirty and cavernous, claustrophobic and swirling it sounds - the track "Autodidact," I’ve recorded it four more times since that version and I’ve never managed to capture that sound again. I will keep trying."
