Ghost Woman are back with their third album, "Hindsight Is 50/50"! Although "Hindsight Is 50/50" is Ghost Woman's third album in 18 months, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Evan Uschenko feels it's the first one that "finally captures the true nature of the band." Recorded mostly live over three days at the analog Kerwax studios in Brittany by Christophe Chavanon (The Good Damn), there's a confidence and assurance that seems to build on 2022's self-titled debut and its successor "Anne, If." Overall, the album is darker and denser than its predecessors, but the sound and feel of this record are closer to what the project was meant to be when it launched in 2016, finally realizing Ghost Woman's creative vision. Vocals are drenched in reverb, and meaning is often suggested rather than explicit. Guitars are heavier, and vocals are less easily discernible, but Uschenko believes that "vocals aren't important. We prefer not to be understood."
