Actor, director, and screenwriter, but also a singer-songwriter, Didier Bourdon continues to surprise us by venturing into music... or to be more precise, by returning to his first love. His album "Le Bourdon" consists of 10 tracks, including an unreleased duet with Michèle Laroque, ‘Si tu me suis’, and an adaptation of an Inconnus song performed with his loyal companions Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus, ‘Vice et versa 2.0’, for a nostalgic nod.
Music and song have long held a prominent place in Didier Bourdon’s life. From a very young age, he learned classical guitar. For him, music knows no bounds; he effortlessly moves from classical to rock: Bach, Wagner, Handel, but also Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Police, Pat Metheny, Neil Young, and many others.
As for songwriting, from the age of 20, he composed his first tracks, some of which would later be covered by Les Inconnus. Beyond parody and pastiche, it's the artistic work and melody that appeal to him, collaborating notably with arranger Laurent Bertaud, who also worked on Les Inconnus’ albums and the soundtracks of films directed by Didier.
‘Le Bourdon’ features 10 lyrical songs with varied tonalities, showcasing multiple facets of his personality: humor, irony, often critical, sometimes melancholic, but always with a touch of wit and derision.
