Scorpio Rising is the third album by British electronica band Death in Vegas, released on September 16, 2002. It takes its title from an experimental film by Kenneth Anger. Various guest artists appear on Scorpio Rising: Liam Gallagher, Hope Sandoval, Nicola Kuperus, and Paul Weller, as well as L. Subramaniam for the string instruments. This album was recorded in Death in Vegas' own studio, The Contino Rooms, in early 2002. The string instruments were recorded at Trinity Wave Station in Madras (Chennai), India.
