CONTINO SESSIONS/180g Audiophile Black Vinyl/Gatefold Sleeve

Description

The album that takes its name from the studio where Death in Vegas recorded most of their work is the crowning achievement of their career. It is an album full of surprises from one of the most interesting electronica bands of the 90s. The production and arrangements by the duo Richard Fearless / Tim Holmes are combined with the grandeur of guitarist Ian Button and bassist Mat Flint. It is a beautiful blend of their electronica sounds and their more rock-oriented music. The vocal appearances by Iggy Pop, Jim Reid of Jesus & Mary Chain, Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream and Dot Allison are incredible and take this record to another level. The beauty of this album lies in the complexity of the emotions it conveys. Richard Fearless is the only active member of the original Death in Vegas lineup. Their sound is influenced by rock, dub and industrial music. The 20th anniversary edition of 'Contino Sessions' is available in 2,500 individually numbered copies on vinyl.
