As a committed live group, the Axel Fischbacher Trio decided to record a "direct-to-disc" LP at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London in 2023. In this process, the music is transferred directly from the mixing console to a cutting lathe, which cuts the grooves into a lacquer from which the vinyl records are then duplicated. These recordings are guaranteed to be counterfeit-free! You can't get any closer to a live performance. The result is a first-class, high-end 180g LP with a gatefold sleeve and a 12-page booklet about the exciting days in London. Anyone listening to the album will feel what happened here: life on stage. The newly composed tracks of "The London Session" and the way they were recorded gave the musicians plenty of space for truly lived-in-the-moment and spontaneously created music.
