The legendary David Byrne (Talking Heads) is back with a new album 'Who Is The Sky?' to be released on the American label Matador. At the end of the 'American Utopia' era, the avant-garde musician found himself compiling words, chords, melodies, driven by deep questions: why write? why compose? why choose this work? The first draft answers can be found in this new opus, produced in collaboration with Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus) and featuring New York's Ghost Train Orchestra, Hayley Williams (Paramore), St. Vincent, and Tom Skinner (The Smile). The album revisits the optimistic themes present in 'American Utopia', with David Byrne continuing his analysis of human connections and the strength of a potential societal union in the face of the chaotic landscape offered by the contemporary world. 'Who Is The Sky' is pop, cinematic, humorous, and joyful, without ever losing a certain wisdom.
