I had become friends with Thomas Ligotti, the eminent author of *Nights and DeadEnds* and *Doubled Darknesses*. I had written him many fan letters and we both wished to collaborate. *I Have A Special Plan For This World* was our second collaboration, after *In A Foreign Town, In AForeign Land*. That album moved me immensely. Ligotti has had, has, and will have a major influence on my work. No one has seen the knell tolling, tolling, tolling for all of us like Thomas. Our house is full of his original manuscripts and typescripts, which I have been collecting from him for nearly 30 years. Andrew Monster Liles has also “ReDreamt, ReDreamed” the track, and this new version appears on Side 2 of the picture-disc, replacing “Extracts From The Bungalow Tapes”, which was on Side B of the original vinyl version. “Extracts From The Bungalow Tapes” will appear on the CD reissue of this album, and on both vinyl versions, available on their picture-disc. Remastered from the original tapes by The Bricoleur at Bladud Flies!, and with the original artwork revisited by Rob Hopeye, this 12” vinyl picture-disc is presented in a full colour die-cut sleeve, printed outer and inner. This is one of four reissues from the entire C93 catalogue on picture disc and standard vinyl, in preparation for the publication of my autobiography in late 2026. Simultaneously, I am working on many other recording, publishing and painting projects, as well as *Watch And Pray*! Each reissue in the series on vinyl picture disc is limited to 1,000 copies, and the titles will not be reissued on picture disc once sold out. - David Tibet, Hastings, 3 June 2025.
