For the 1st anniversary of their album DAYSTAR, CITY KAY is releasing a DELUXE version of their opus, accompanied by a 60-minute Studio Live Session produced during the I Am From Rennes Festival. On this occasion, the band is meeting the public on April 17, 2016 at the Trianon (Paris) together with Panda Dub.DAYSTAR reveals an urban roots pop sound with Anglo-Saxon influences. The band combines electro in productions inspired by James Blake, Kendrick Lamar or even Little Dragon. Touring across France, CITY KAY has stood out through their appearances at Printemps de Bourges and Trans'Musicales de Rennes. The band presents a unique live show, thanks to an "augmented" setup integrating effects and electronic processing into the sextet's performance.
