After spending the last few years touring the planet and setting fire to every club and festival they have passed through - following the releases of Nu-Med (album released in 2007) and Nu-Made (remix collection released in 2008) "Balkan Beat Box" centered around Tamir Muskat, Ori Kaplan, and Tomer Yosef - has now reached maturity with this new album titled "Blue Eyed Black Boy". Recorded in Vienna (Austria), Belgrade (Serbia), and Tel Aviv (Israel), "Blue Eyed Black Boy" condenses among other things and in a homogeneous way Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, Balkan madness, Latin touches, reggae elements, hip hop, electro, cumbia. This solidly structured sonic collision is the faithful result of the wild and bubbling energy of the group, politically conscious and committed, and their grooves still very much "dancefloor friendly".. A beautiful way to step boldly into the 21st century...
