NITRO BURNIN’ FUNNY DADDY - EDITION LIMITÉE VINYLE ROUGE TRANSPARENT

Description

AVAILABLE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME ON VINYL! Initially released only on CD in 2003, "Nitro Burnin' Funny Daddy" is Brian Setzer's eleventh solo album. Upon its release, Setzer stated that it was the most personal record he had ever made. The album followed his "Boogie Woogie Christmas" from the previous year and saw him return to his best rockabilly form, with a pinch of doo-wop ("To Be Loved"), a dash of bluegrass ("When The Bells Don't Chime"), a hint of rootsy-rock ("Don't Trust A Woman (In A Black Cadillac)") and even a handful of spaghetti western for good measure ("Wild Wind"). Produced by Dave Darling at Unit A Studios in Palm Springs, California, the trio is completed by Johnny Hatton on double bass and Bernie Dresel on drums.
