Description

Xander Harris is a composer of electronic music blending ambient, Italo-Disco, and industrial psychedelic under a veil of synthesizers. His music is inspired by the soundtracks of horror films of the Giallo genre and allowed his album Urban Gothic to join the ranking of the 50 best LPs of 2011 according to Fact Magazine. As a DJ, he has played tracks by Peaking Lights, Zyna Hel, and Mogwai, to name just a few, thus bringing cosmic sounds to the dance floor. Xander comes from Austin, Texas, and maintains strong connections with the burgeoning cultural fabric of the region. California Chrome, his fourth album, is an exploration of hallucinatory EBM and was recorded at home over the past twelve months.
