Xander Harris is an electronic music composer blending ambient, Italo-Disco and industrial psychedelia under a veil of synthesizers. His music draws inspiration from the soundtracks of Giallo horror films and helped his album Urban Gothic make it into Fact Magazine’s ranking of the 50 best LPs of 2011. As a DJ, he has been able to play tracks by Peaking Lights, Zyna Hel and Mogwai, to name just a few, thus bringing cosmic sounds to the dance floor. Xander comes to us from Austin, Texas, and maintains strong connections with the region’s burgeoning cultural fabric. California Chrome, his fourth album, is an exploration of hallucinatory EBM and was recorded at home over the past twelve months.
