After a sensational start with the album Oracle in 2017, the German jazz supergroup Web Web returns with the incredible Dance of the Demons. The group consists of Roberto Di Gioia (Klaus Doldinger's Passport, Marsmobil) on piano, synth, and percussion, Tony Lakatos (Pili Pili) on soprano and tenor saxophone, Christian von Kaphengst (Cafe du Sport) on double bass, and Peter Gall on drums. The group is joined in the studio by the renowned Moroccan singer and guembri player Majid Bekkas. The album was recorded live in Munich by Jan Krause (Beanfield, Poets Of Rhythm) and produced by Roberto Di Gioia and Michael Reinboth. This album is a furious dance with demons, from the spirit soul jazz of "Land of the Arum Flower" and its melodies reminiscent of 60s Ethiopian jazz to the incredible "Sandla," including Majid Bekkas's solo "Maroc Blues" and the strange beauty of "Safar." Vinyl version of Dance of the Demons, the second album by the German jazz supergroup Web Web featuring Moroccan singer and guembri player Majid Bekkas.
