The Wailing Souls (literally "the wailing souls") is a Jamaican reggae band composed of Winston 'Pipe' Matthews, Lloyd 'Bread' McDonald, George 'Buddy' Haye, and Rudolph 'Garth' Dennis formed in the mid-1960s. Often compared to Bob Marley, Pipe Matthews' voice has made this group, nominated 8 times for the Grammy Awards, one of the most recognized in roots reggae. They continue, even today, to perform in concerts and release albums regularly.Legendary album released in 1990, produced by King Jammy.
