Description

Usé's music resembles that free party we searched for in a night as thick as tar, deep in the forest, relying on the deep rumble that seemed to emanate from the ground: wild and aggressive, yet also familial, welcoming, and touching in its simplicity. The pleasure of surrendering to the all-powerful trance, the regressive joy of the drums that create chaos, light, catchy refrains, rhythmic lyrics like a Dada poem. Usé shatters the little labels "noise," "rock," and "techno" that we use to tame sound, bringing us back to the foundations of sound, to the primitive pulses that predate language or melody.
