Description

"Different Game" is the long-awaited follow-up to their 2015 release, "Still Got That Hunger." The band began working on the album in 2019, right after their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but it was unfortunately delayed by the pandemic. The band members strongly prefer to record together and capture a live performance in the studio (just as they would have done in the 1960s). They did not want to do remote recordings at all. This album is exactly what today's Zombies were meant to do. It features the vintage feel that set them apart in the 1960s, combined with a modern sound that reflects their continuous development as songwriters and musicians. Nine of the 10 tracks were written by Rod Argent, and "The Sun Will Rise Again" by Colin Blunstone. Rod produced the entire album (with sound engineer Dale Hanson), which includes a small string section on 3 tracks.
