London trio The xx is back with a new album! After "xx" (2009) and "Coexist" (2012), this third opus heralds "a new era for the trio" not only "musically but also in terms of the composition process," according to their label Young Turks. On their official Facebook page, the band expressed themselves emotionally to announce the release: "After several years, very close or very far apart, with highs and lows, heartaches and relief, we are thrilled to announce the release of our third album 'I See You' on January 13, 2017. In these uncertain times, we hope that all the joy and love we put into composing it will find its way into our world, however small."
