After the success of their first album, which reached 16th on the official charts, The Royston Club enters a new phase in 2025 with "Songs for the Spine", a record written and recorded in less than a year, in a rush, after a dry spell. This time constraint gave birth to a more instinctive album, where the tracks retained their raw form, without over-analysis. Recorded in Liverpool with Rich Turvey, the band favored first takes and avoided unnecessary overdubs, for a result that is more live, authentic, and spontaneous than ever.
