Some Of It Was True

Description

The Menzingers present their most energetic album to date: ‘Some of it was true’ The Menzingers are an absolute institution. The reputation of Philadelphia punk legends, spanning several decades, as road warriors with an unbeatable catalog is cemented as an absolute truth. Their seventh album, ‘Some of it was true’, follows the sensational ‘Hello Exile’, released in 2019, and accomplishes the daunting task of capturing The Menzingers’ distinctive live energy within the confines of the studio. The result is a sound that is at once rich, raw, and complementary to the band’s increasingly prismatic approach to songwriting. More than 15 years later, The Menzingers still keep their listeners in the immediate present, and ‘Some of it was true’ documents that power in thrilling fashion.
