Hello exile

Description

The Menzingers, one of the best bands in the modern punk scene, take a new step with Hello Exile and present an album that is even darker and more powerful than its predecessors. The punk band The Menzingers based in Philadelphia releases its sixth studio album, Hello Exile. Produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Quicksand), the album follows After The Party released in 2017 and critically acclaimed. Since their formation in 2006 when they were teenagers, The Menzingers have proven their songwriting talent through their songs that are equally rooted in frenetic energy and realistic detail in the lyrics. On their new album Hello Exile, the band members elevate their lyrical narrative to a whole new level and share their thoughts on current topics of yesterday and today: hell in high school, troubled relationships, aging, alcohol, and political boredom. And although their songs often reveal some painful truths, Hello Exile ultimately maintains the irrepressible spirit that has always defined the band. The Menzingers are: singer/guitarist Greg Barnett and Tom May, bassist Eric Keen, and drummer Joe Godino.
