After 10 years of silence, The Lanskies are back with a new album: "War Machine." Inventors of Hot Wave (Tracks on Arte described their music this way), The Lanskies return to ignite the fire. An ambitious project, at the crossroads of post-punk and indie-pop influences, recorded at Studio de la Chouette and mixed by renowned sound engineer Clive Martin (Queen, The Cure, les Wampas, les Négresses Vertes, Stereophonics, …), promising a sound that is both dense and refined. 11 powerful rock tracks that blend influences (Pulp, Kaiser Chief, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and even Oasis) while maintaining a strong uniqueness. Led by their charismatic frontman Lewis Evans, known for their breathtaking live performances (around fifty concerts on their previous album took them from Rock en Seine to China), their concert schedule is already filling up quickly with about ten dates announced.
