The Invisible is a project born in 2006 when Dave Okumu brought together Leo Taylor and Tom Herbert. Together they recorded tracks under the name The Invisible. Their first self-titled album was released in March 2009, produced by Matthew Herbert, and was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Their second album, Rispah, was released in August 2012 on Ninja Tune. In the meantime, Dave Okumu worked on many projects for other artists, notably Jessie Ware, whose debut album Devotion he produced and co-wrote. The promotional campaign for their second album was put on hold when Dave Okumu was electrocuted on stage during a concert in Lagos, Nigeria. After producing many albums, including the latest by Lilly Wood & The Prick, Shadows, (The Invisible also opened for them on March 31 at the Zénith), Dave Okumu and his partners deliver here a third album, Patience, which should establish itself as a new high point in their career.
