'Sunshine Hit Me', the first album by the band The Bees, was released in 2002. The album was recorded and produced by band members Paul Butler and Aaron Fletcher in a garden studio on the Isle of Wight. 'Sunshine Hit Me' draws on a wide range of influences such as psychedelia, reggae, indie and 1960s rock, and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Remastered by Electric Mastering, [PIAS] Recordings Catalog will reissue 'Sunshine Hit Me' in a limited edition blue vinyl matching the album's iconic cover.
