The Alan Parsons Project's multi-million-selling album *The Turn of a Friendly Card*, a true prog-pop tour de force, is being reissued in various formats, including a CD edition with 4 unreleased tracks, a vinyl edition with half-speed mastering, and an audiophile 2LP heavyweight 45RPM edition. Their 5th studio album is a concept album that explores the themes of the gambling industry and the fate of gamblers. The album achieved worldwide success, earning platinum and gold records in many countries. As with other Alan Parsons Project albums, several vocalists participated in the recording, including Chris Rainbow, Lenny Zakatek, Elmer Gantry, and Eric Woolfson himself. This was complemented by a selection of studio musicians such as guitarists Ian Bairnson and David Paton and drummer Stuart Elliott, with arrangements by Andrew Powell.
