Tèr laba... the elsewhere. Where we come from, what shapes us, what we always return to. Tèr Laba is the musical project of Réunionnais artist Valérie ChaneTef, in collaboration with Guadeloupean pianist Florence Vincenot. This project fuses jazz, Creole music, and hybrid influences, paying homage to Valérie's Creole roots. The first album, Radio Péï, released in 2024, exemplifies this approach and has been critically acclaimed. Ter Laba's second album comes after Valérie ChaneTef received the Flamboyant 2025 award and is destined for a... flamboyant future, in partnership with TSF.
