Led by the soulful voice of Susan Tedeschi and the surprisingly original fingerstyle guitar work of Derek Trucks, the Tedeschi Trucks Band has parked its tour bus at this mythical crossroads of blues and rock, and over 15 years, has solidified its position as one of the greatest live bands of all time. But let us take you back to the very beginning of their odyssey with the FIRST live release ever put out by the band. Live Revelator was released in 2012 as a limited CD edition to promote TTB's debut studio album, Revelator, and to showcase their upcoming double live album Everybody's Talkin'; featuring the exclusive track "Don't Let Me Slide," it is a single LP sampling of the improvised magic this band brings every night. And especially this band: for it is the early lineup with Dead & Co. bassist Oteil Burbridge and the late Kofi Burbridge on keyboards.
