Swans, the legendary American band led by Michael Gira, was founded in 1982 before disbanding in 1997. Their reunion in 2010 is marked by the release of the albums "My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky" (2010) and "The Seer" (2012), both critically acclaimed. A new album, "To Be Kind", will be released on May 12, 2014, on Mute. Daniel Miller, founder of Mute, is "extremely happy and proud to be working with Michael again. The Swans concerts since their reunion have been absolutely incredible, I've never seen or heard anything like it."
