West of flushing South of Frisco

Description

Supersonic Blues Machine is not just a band, it’s a state of mind, a brotherhood, a melting pot of ideas with like-minded people bringing their talent together to create music with a very organic spirit. In 2012, Texas singer-guitarist Lance Lopez came to LA to record an album. Producer Fabrizio Grossi suggested he take the opportunity to work on a few ideas. Two days later, their time in the studio would yield 3 tracks that would form the basis of an exciting new project! Throughout his prolific career as a producer or bassist, Fabrizio has worked with the cream of the crop of musicians: from Steve Vai to Nina Hagen, from Alice Cooper to Glenn Hughes, Dave Navarro, George Clinton, Joe Bonamassa, Leslie West, Ice T, Slash. The last link to join the family was the legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff, introduced to Fabrizio by Steve Lukather, their mutual friend. The renown of the collaborators clearly reflects the quality of the SBM adventure: Billy F. Gibbons, Walter Trout, Warren Haynes, Robben Ford, Eric Gales and Chris Duarte are all closely connected to one or more members of the core trio. The idea was to involve close friends on the record in order to convey this special and authentic relationship.
