To celebrate its 35th anniversary, Mute & BMG are releasing a special edition of "A Way of Life", the 3rd album by the electronic-punk duo Suicide, considered one of the most inspiring groups of the 70s, influencing artists such as Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and The Jesus And Mary Chain, and winning the admiration of Nick Cave, Jim Thirlwell, M.I.A., Spiritualized, Lydia Lunch, Bobby Gillespie, Savages... Released in 1988, more than ten years after their iconic self-titled album, 'A Way of Life' saw Alan Vega and Martin Rev team up once again with The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek to produce an album with industrial pop sounds. This remastered edition includes unreleased tracks. Available in a limited yellow vinyl edition or CD. This anniversary edition features the album fully remastered by Denis Blackham (Skye Mastering). Each format includes the bonus tracks "Heat Beat" and a recently discovered live cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA". Three other unreleased recordings are featured exclusively on the CD version.
