To celebrate its 35th anniversary, Mute & BMG are releasing a special edition of "A Way of Life," the third album from electronic-punk duo Suicide, considered one of the most influential bands of the 70s, impacting artists like Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, and The Jesus And Mary Chain, and earning praise from Nick Cave, Jim Thirlwell, M.I.A., Spiritualized, Lydia Lunch, Bobby Gillespie, Savages... Released in 1988, over a decade after their iconic self-titled album, 'A Way of Life' saw Alan Vega and Martin Rev reunite with The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek to produce an album with industrial pop sounds. This remastered edition includes unreleased tracks. Available on limited edition yellow vinyl or CD. This anniversary edition features the album fully remastered by Denis Blackham (Skye Mastering). Each format includes bonus tracks "Heat Beat" and a recently discovered live cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA." Three other unreleased recordings are exclusively featured on the CD version.
