The highly sought-after first solo pieces from the leader of Porcupine Tree compiled for the first time on CD, this collection of 12 tracks includes 6 original songs by Steven Wilson and 6 covers of songs by Alanis Morissette, Abba, The Cure, Momus, Prince, and Donovan originally released for the very rare Cover Version singles series between 2003 and 2010. In March 2003, Steven Wilson released a very limited edition 2-track CD single, which was his first release under his own name. The single included a cover and an original track by the artist. Over the years, 5 similar releases followed. The choice of covers illustrates the various genres that have influenced Steven Wilson, providing a fascinating insight into his personal tastes and the development of this solo artist. A series of 45 RPM records was also released in 500 copies, now all completely unavailable!
