First complete concert album by Sparks, brothers Ron and Russell Mael, recorded in 2025. After last year's world tour, Sparks was invited to perform a unique concert on the Moon – the first band in history to do so! Includes an introduction and outro by Cate Blanchett, who accompanied the band on their lunar journey. Sparks Live On The Moon features a full live set of twenty songs covering the band's 54-year career, including "This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us," "The Number One Song In Heaven," "When Do I Get To Sing 'My Way'," "The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte," and songs from their most recent album MAD! Sparks Live On The Moon follows MAD!, their acclaimed 28th studio album that reached #2 on the UK charts last year – their highest position to date! Since the release of MAD!, Sparks have traveled the world, including their very first concerts in Hong Kong and in the Tarinto crater on the Moon. In 2026, the band continued to perform live, including in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. Sparks is featured on the lead single from the latest Gorillaz album, which topped the charts, and will open for them at their concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June. In August, they will headline the second stage at the Green Man Festival and perform at Rock en Seine in Paris.
