SOFTS

Description

The album was the band’s second for EMI’s Harvest label and featured a lineup consisting of KARL JENKINS (piano, electric piano, synthesizers), JOHN MARSHALL (drums), ROY BABBINGTON (bass) and new members JOHN ETHERIDGE (guitar) and ALAN WAKEMAN (tenor and soprano saxophones). An accessible collection that followed the band’s first album for Harvest, “Bundles”. “Softs” showcased JOHN ETHERIDGE’s considerable guitar talents and would also be the last album to feature contributions from keyboardist and founding member MIKE RATLEDGE. This new vinyl edition of this classic album has been remastered and cut at Abbey Road Studios. It fully restores the original LP artwork.
